Advantage Brand
remanufactured toner cartridges, check stock, envelopes, font
hardware/software, ink jet refills and New Modified MICR cartridges are
guaranteed to be free from damage and/ or defects. Our policy is simple.
Within one year from the time of purchase, our customers can return a
damaged or defective cartridge. After examination, if the cartridge is
defective or damaged, Advantage will replace the cartridge free of charge or
simply refund the original purchase price. In
the event we determine that the cartridge is empty or otherwise defective,
no credit will be applied. If we did something wrong, we will make it
right, that's the Advantage Guarantee!
OEM Branded Cartridges (HP, Lexmark, Brother, etc) Guarantee
All Non-Advantage Brand products (OEM Brand Toner/Ink/Drums) are guaranteed to be free of defects, damage and poor workmanship for 30 days from day of purchase. After 30 days you may still be able to return the products for replacement with the original manufacturer. Most manufacturers guarantee their products for one year.
Returning Unused Merchandise
Advantage charges a 20% restocking fee to return unused
merchandise. You man return unused merchandise for up to 1 year from purchase
date for Advantage Brand items and 30 days for all OEM products (ie HP, Lexmark,
Brother brand). If your printer has been replaced and you can no longer use the
original cartridges, we will give you 100% of your original value towards
replacement cartridges with no restocking fee.
Shipping
- The customer assumes the cost of shipping the merchandise back to
Advantage and must insure their product against damage/loss.
"Like new" condition
- Customer's will be assessed a 20% restocking fee after our evaluation team
determines the product is still in "
like new" / re-sellable condition. If the
product comes back and it is not in re-sellable condition, no credit will be
issued. This means you can't return toner cartridge that has been opened or the
seal pulled.
Why a
restocking fee? -
The 20% restocking fee covers our labor in processing the restocked items.
This includes inspecting the items, removing labels, replacing packaging if
necessary. Low volume or non-stock items that we normally don't carry in house
are typically drop shipped directly from our supplier and we will in turn ship
the product to our supplier and pay a restocking fee as well.
Anything over
1 year old will not be credited. If a return item is lost or damaged in
shipping, the customer must file a claim with their preferred shipper and no
credit will be issued by Advantage.
How to return
unused merchandise?
- Before you return unused merchandise, call (800-722-2804) or email customer
service (
[email protected])
and get an RMA #. Ship the unused merchandise in a box and write "
RMA # XXXX"
clearly on the outside of the box. Please do not write the RMA # on the
merchandise box, as that make the unused merchandise no longer "like new".
Exceptions - Exceptions to our return policy are our Laser Printers and RDM Products. For
